I’ve recently been looking at the
setup, and our recommendation to use a Vagrant setup. This seems to
work for most people. Jason Hsu put
together a really nice set of videos to pair along with his Vagrant
setup. I had also been working on a kit to get Ubuntu Trusty
provisioned with Ansible working for some work-related projects.
There have been a lot of blog posts and articles written on how to add

By introduction, Justin Weiss is a
rather prolific blogger, journaler, and writer about Rails. He has a
book that’s coming out,
Practicing Rails that is the book I
wish I had written, and I am thoroughly indebted to Justin for
writing. The book is exactly the way I go about learning how
programming concepts, language features, framework features, and all
that stuff work.
